Sono state annunciate dal Comic-Con International le nomination per i Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards, i riconoscimenti annuali che premiano le opere più creative nel settore.

Il concorso riguarda titoli pubblicati tra il 1° gennaio e il 31 dicembre 2017, che saranno votati da professionisti dell’industria fumettistica, per essere poi premiati il prossimo 20 luglio durante una cerimonia alla Comic-Con di San Diego.

I due titoli che hanno raccolto il maggior numero di nomination sono La mia cosa preferita sono i mostri (pubblicato in Italia da BAO Publishing) e Monstress (pubblicato in Italia da Oscar Ink). Spicca l’assenza di Saga, che negli anni precedenti è sempre stato in lizza almeno in una categoria.
